This session will describe the Indiana Center on Teacher Quality’s three-stage professional development framework, which attempts to promote teachers’ sense of self-efficacy by ensuring that training activities help them move from awareness of new concepts all the way through to skill application in the classroom. ICTQ’s model offers teacher-participants opportunities to develop and apply skills in Universal Design for Learning via online modules, on-site training, and classroom-based coaching. The presenter will highlight the conception, design, development, and implementation of the ICTQ model and share initial outcome data derived from two years of work in five Indiana school districts.
