The purpose of this project was to conduct an external evaluation of the measurement system used to score submissions provided by participants seeking the Associate Credential in UDL. Over a ten-week period, a total of seventeen participants submitted documentation of their UDL knowledge. A research team of three people utilized a constant comparative method to suggest edits to the submission directions, scoring criteria, and components. Interrater reliability across multiple raters was measured on all submissions. Recommendations were made to continue the reliability of scorers as well as to train new scorers. Recommendations are made for future applications of the measurement system.
