What is L in UDL? Examining the Neural Process of Learning to Better Support Expert Learning

This UDL talk will provide a brief overview of the need for a common understanding of learning and an explanation of why UDL requires that we conceptualize learning from a neuropsychological perspective. A definition of learning will be offered with an explanation of how starting UDL discussions with a shared understanding of learning enables practitioners and researchers to better comprehend the framework and shape empirical questions about its use.
