What does it mean to teach K-8 computer science (CS) through the UDL framework? This UDL Talk highlights research conducted through a National Science Foundation project that is examining inclusive elementary and middle school CS instruction. This project investigates how to support teachers in using the UDL framework along with balancing explicit instruction with open-inquiry within inclusive CS education. Connections will be made between UDL-based CS education and other instructional contexts.  Findings from a study examining UDL within teachers’ lesson plans as well as coaching logs will be shared to explain the extent to which some areas of UDL were emphasized above others. Finally, implications for the future of UDL-based CS education will be shared as a means of considering how to support teachers in meeting the needs of all their learners in technology-mediated advanced instructional contexts.
