We all have lessons in our back pockets that revolve around all learners completing the same work in the same way. It’s time to #DitchTheWorksheet to create a learning environment culture that empowers students to take charge of their own learning while maintaining and even increasing rigor. What barriers do we, as teachers, face in designing lessons for our learning environments and how can ditching the worksheets break down those barriers. We will examine learning environment culture and low-tech to full tech options for learners to utilize for their learning and how we can evaluate learners in such a culture.
